Are Saint Paul's taxes property taxes too hight, especially for historic or higher-end homes? Is there a lot of variance between properties? How are your taxes calculated, and can they be appealed? Are additional levies (such as for brick alleys) sustainable?
Our final lecture of the season takes on more of a round table format as we discuss issues and what can be done about them. Some of your neighbors will also discuss some of the research they have done on the issue.
SARPA has no relationship to city or county government, so we can't promise any change. But we think it would be great to come together in a round-table atmosphere to share knowledge, discuss these issues, and see if there are any changes we might be able to instigate.
